Sport Programmes
St Saviour's College is proud of its record in the field of sport. The College is a member of the Toowoomba Secondary School Sport Association and meets its commitments in Swimming, Athletics, Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Touch Football, Soccer, Netball & Waterpolo. We more than hold our own against the other competing schools. St Saviour's College also participates in a large number of extra curricular sporting competitions. These include:
Junior and Senior Vicki Wilson Netball, Golden Glove Softball, Indoor Netball, Friday Night Basketball and Indoor Volleyball. St Saviour's sporting success is not judged only by the number of premierships won, but by the spirit with which each sport is undertaken.
Each year it is expected that a student takes part in sporting and leisure activities throughout the year. In terms one and two, students may compete in interschool competitive teams. Terms one to four offer a variety of leisure activities. Not only can a student take a role as participant in the activity, she may choose to take on the role of coach, assistant coach, or with staff supervision. All students are encouraged to be actively involved in the St Saviour's sporting program, as involvement is essential to a girl feeling part of this vibrant community and ensuring choice for future leisure time activities.
